Stainless N26-SUS Cash Drawer
I have a fx-400, While in the middle of entering a sale, the register froze. On rebooting it, the register now displays EE 0. The local repair service (who returned it to us in pieces - even the printer was broken down and they didnt even throw the screws in the case...) claims the printer causes the error code, however the printer was not in use at the moment of failure. Resetting the memory seems to have no effect.
My questions are : 1) Does anyone actually know the meaning of this error code?

2) could it be related to the 128K x 8bit cmos sram possibly going bad? (its on the underside of the board - pita surface mount. ) The chip is a UT61024SC-70LL for purposes of completeness.
3) is there a service manual online?
